Yukon Artist Showcase 2026

GENDER BASED VIOLENCE PREVENTION

BYTE is excited to be hosting the Yukon Artist Showcase on February 7th 2026, at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre. Formerly known as Battle of the Bands, the event was rebranded in 2020 to remove the competitive element and instead focus on celebrating creativity.

The Yukon Artist Showcase is a vibrant, welcoming space where youth can explore their creativity, share their stories, and connect with their communities in meaningful ways. By providing opportunities for young people to express themselves through art, we nurture confidence, self-respect, and resilience: qualities that are essential in preventing gender-based violence. This showcase celebrates the power of imagination and expression as tools for healing, empowerment, and positive change, reminding us that when young voices are seen, heard, and supported, entire communities grow stronger, safer, and more compassionate.
