Rise and Shine Skate Jam 2024

“Rise&Shine Skateboarding JAM,” hosted by BYTE and the Rise&Shine Skateboarding Alliance, was a huge success!

With free food, cold drinks, great weather, and a lively atmosphere, the event was a hit.A major highlight was welcoming young female skaters from out of Territory, who inspired everyone with their talent and passion. The skate, grip tape, and graffiti workshops were a big draw, offering fun and learning for all ages and skill levels.

Thanks to our generous sponsors and donors, we were able to give out many prizes. On the first day, Baked donated delicious cookies, and BYTE provided free snacks and drinks. The second day’s free community BBQ was a crowd favorite. A big thank you to Triple J Collective, Yukon Government, Baked, Independent, Cadence Cycle, Icycle Sports, Kind Cafe, Gather Cafe, Yukon Built, Etnies, Air North, Northwestel, Vans, and Eldorado Skate and Snow for their incredible support!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event special.

Stay tuned for more fun events ahead!
