Maddi (she/her) brings six years of frontline nonprofit experience to her role as the Service Navigation Coordinator for IYS. She is passionate about youth advocacy, building meaningful relationships, and helping youth feel confident accessing the resources and opportunities that support their goals. In her role, Maddi works to build connections with youth and community partners across the Yukon, helping youth navigate services and access supports that meet their needs. She believes strong communities are built through collaboration, inclusion, and ensuring everyone has access to spaces where they feel valued and understood. Outside of her work with IYS, Maddi is a certified sexual health educator and a full-time Social Work student at Yukon University. When she’s not working or studying, you’ll usually find Maddi curled up with her cat watching an old movie, or window shopping for trinkets she definitely doesn’t need.
