It’s mid-July, which means everyone’s on their way to the beautiful town of Atlin, BC for the annual Atlin Arts and Music Festival. This year, BYTE is coming along to be at the Youth Stage, a new venue at the festival that features young, local up-and-coming musicians. The Youth Stage will run from 12 – 5pm on Saturday, July 12 at the Atlin Rec Centre, and BYTE will be co-hosting the stage alongside the festival organizers.
Back in January, BYTE offered a spot on the stage as the People’s Choice prize at this year’s Battle of the Bands. 86 YounGunz were the worthy winners, and they’ll be playing at 3:00. The lineup also includes performances by Dead Simple, MC Turmoil and Riddz, Speed Control, and The Midnight Sons, as well as a beat box workshop by Daniel Ashley. We’ll have free sandwiches, salads, and water (please bring your water bottle!) for youth that attend. Thank you to Bridges Cafe for providing the food!
