BYTE distributed Climate Change surveys to a number of communities throughout the Yukon including: Faro, Dawson City, Minto, Haines Junction, Carmacks and Whitehorse. Over 400 surveys were distributed. 285 respondents were in our desired target age range (12-25). We hoped to gain insight into Yukon Youth’s climate change knowledge, their innovative solutions and whether or not they think their voice is being heard on this issue. Â Our sponsors included: Yukon Government Department of Environment, Climate Change Secretariat, City of Whitehorse, and the Youth Directorate.
