In March 2021, a group of individuals and organizations working in climate change and income security received funding from Environment and Climate Change Canada’s Climate Action and Awareness Fund to organize a series of community conversations on the topic of Livelihoods, incomes and Community Resilience for a Net-Zero Canada. You can read more about the Green Resilience Project here.
Project organizers partnered with BYTE — Empowering Youth Society to host one of these community conversations with Yukon youth, which took place on January 25th, 2022. Below you can read our Community Summary Report, which discusses what we heard at this conversation. In April 2022, the Green Resilience Project will release a final report that encompasses all of the community conversations that took place nationally.
